unPOLISHed. Young design from Poland

The young generation of polish designers is creating new landmarks on the map of European design. Experimenting with simple easily available materials, which are either re-used in unusual combinations or re-cycled, is characteristic of contemporary design in Poland. The works move – often with a conscious touch of humour – in a juxtaposition of traditional popular art and present-day consumer behavior in our globalized world. The exhibition shows 100 design objects, among them numerous one-offs and products from limited series by 20 young designers from Poland, whose works have already been on display at international fairs and exhibitions.
