Christian Dior and Germany 1947 to 1957

The name of Christian Dior is synonymous with luxury and elegance. The work of the fashion designer marks a high point of French haute couture. Alongside elegant garments from his atelier the exhibition shows magnificent costume jewellery which was made in Germany according to designs by Dior. Original drawings and fashion photographs from the period evoke a lively picture of one of the most interesting periods in fashion history.
The exhibition is open on Wednedsays until 9 pm; at 7 pm there is a public guided tour
